Rosie trained in Australia and in 2019 undertook Level 2 training with Terence in the UK and also attended the annual BWRT Congress. She has achieved certification in Level 2.

After completing her PhD in 1997 Rosie pursued extensive training in the area of complex traumas. She has a special interest in how particular negative and painful relationships with one's body are shaped and formed throughout the course of a person's life. Her multi-disciplinary thesis was awarded a high distinction and subsequently published as the book "Menopause Art and the Body". Prior to training as a psychoanalytic therapist Rosie had a distinguished career as an artist and teacher.
